STANLEY MEYER: THE INVENTOR WHO THREATENED THE GLOBAL OIL EMPIRE
STANLEY MEYER: THE INVENTOR WHO THREATENED THE GLOBAL OIL EMPIRE
1. The Beginning and Early Life
Stanley Allen Meyer was born on August 24, 1940, in the United States, in the state of Ohio, Columbus city. Since his childhood, Meyer had a unique mind for engineering and invention. He gained his skills through education and work experience in the country, dedicating his entire life to finding alternative energy that would be affordable for every human being.2. The Discovery of the Water-Powered Car
In the mid-1970s, while the world was facing a major oil price crisis, Meyer introduced an amazing technology. He created a device called the "Water Fuel Cell" which was installed on a dune buggy type of car.His Skill: He claimed that his car could travel a distance of 100 miles per one gallon of water.
His Science: He used an electrical system to separate water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen gas, then he burned that gas to run the engine.
3. The Threat to Oil Sellers and the Billion Offer
This discovery threatened the peace of major oil companies worldwide. If the world started using water instead of petrol, the oil business would die.It is said that Meyer was approached by powerful people giving him an offer of one billion dollars to sell the technology and prevent it from spreading.
Out of patriotism and love for humanity, Meyer refused that offer, saying that the technology is for all people.
4. His Sudden and Secret Death
On March 20, 1998, Stanley Meyer was 57 years old. He was in a meeting at a restaurant in Ohio with two investors from Belgium.
After drinking cranberry juice, he suddenly grabbed his neck, went outside, and knelt down shouting: "They poisoned me!".
He died right there outside the restaurant. Although the hospital report said he died of high blood pressure (aneurysm), his brother Stephen Meyer believes to this day that his brother was killed to eliminate that technology.
5. History and Lessons for Us
The History He Left: Meyer is remembered as the "hero of water energy". Although his car and devices were taken by the government and some confiscated, his name remains a symbol of resistance against economic oppression.
What Has It Taught Us? It teaches us that great inventions can bring powerful enemies. It also reminds us that the technology to save the world exists, but sometimes it is suppressed by the interests of a few.
