SAVING GIANTS AND STREET VIBES: THE HEART OF NAIROBI
SAVING GIANTS AND STREET VIBES: THE HEART OF NAIROBI
The 2026 tour took a more emotional turn as Speed visited the world-famous Elephant Orphanage. Seeing the baby elephants being bottle-fed by their keepers was a heartwarming experience that showed the deep connection between Kenyans and their wildlife. Speed, in his typical style, was both amazed and a bit nervous as the playful young giants crowded around him. This visit highlighted the critical work being done to protect Africa’s elephant population for future generations.
To wrap up his afternoon, Speed decided to live like a local. He stopped at a roadside stall to try Kenya’s favorite street snack—roasted maize (Mahindi Choma). The interaction with the local vendor and the first bite of the smoky, salted corn was pure comedy. But the real adventure began when he hopped onto a "Matatu," the vibrant and loud Kenyan minibuses. Surrounded by loud music and neon lights, Speed experienced the true pulse of Nairobi’s transport culture in a way only he could.
